I revised this Research project again and I think this one is the best one that I have written. Here is my third and final reedit to my intro for my research project
Everyone wants to have a positive life, everyone wants to have a good sense of well being in order to maintain a positive view on their life. This is what Dr. Martin Seligman the father of positive psychology did he created this experiment called the 'Three Good Things" to help see that by doing this experiment if people would see a more positive view on their life and make them have gratitude for what they have. For me personally this experiment did work like I thought it would. I feel if someone wants to make their life more positive they should do it by writing three good things that happened to them for that day. The "Three Good Things" is where you write three good things that has happened to you for that day for a week or more. The point of doing this is to make them feel more positive or feel more gratitude for what they have. The question that is to be answered after this experiment is "Can the Three Good Things gratitude process have a positive impact on my well-being?". Well in my experience the three good things did have a positive impact on my well being because I felt more happy after doing this experiment. The first time I did this I didn't feel that it worked but I feel like I didn't really do the exercise like I should have, that's why I said in my first draft that it didn't work. What I did realize after this was even the little things make a big difference too because the little things are just as important as the big things are. Here is the link to read my final and finished product of my research project called " Making life better, does it work?"

The question that is to be answered after this experiment is "Can the Three Good Things gratitude process have a positive impact on my well-being?". Well in my experience the three good things did not have a positive impact on my well being because I don't have a lot of time write three good things everyday because I have lots to do and to me it seems like another chore for me which makes it boring and not interesting to want to do. Blog Prompt: Write about your research project. Consider posting sections of the project, updates on research, annotating sources, questions you are struggling/succeeding in answering, comparisons to other research writing you have completed, impact on your life, overall reflections, writing goals, intrinsic goals, etc
Intro to Research Project: Everyone wants to have a positive life, everyone wants to have a good sense of well being in order to maintain a positive view on life. This is what Dr. Martin Seligman the father of positive psychology did he created this experiment called the 'Three Good Things" to help people see a more positive view on their life and make them have gratitude for what they have. I think this experiment isn't gonna work because to me it takes a lot to get someone to make their life more positive and stick with it but I shall se for myself because what you have to do for the "Three Good Things" where you write three good things that has happened to you for that day for a week to see if they see anymore positive or feel more gratitude for what they have. The question that is to be answered after this experiment is over is "Can the Three Good Things gratitude process have a positive impact on my well-being?". Well in my experience the three good things did not have a positive impact on my well being because I don't have a lot of time write three good things everyday because it seems like another chore for me to do and it makes it boring and not interesting to do. Blog Prompt: Write about your research project. Consider posting sections of the project, updates on research, annotating sources, questions you are struggling/succeeding in answering, comparisons to other research writing you have completed, impact on your life, overall reflections, writing goals, intrinsic goals, etc. This blog will be me discussing the research project. The research project is us as a class having to do this well known Psychology experiment called " Three good things" which is where everyday you write three good things that happened to you. The purpose of this project is to make your life more positive and help you well being and make you have more gratitude for what you have in your life. I personally didn't see any improvement in my day to day life plus to me I already have so many things I have to do so it just felt like another chore I had to do and it wasn't as interesting to want to do. Plus it kind of make my interest for this project go down hill. I think I'll give this project another shot but I'm going to do things a little different instead of one week Ill make it three weeks and instead of three good things everyday Ill make it every 3 days or so list 7 good things and see if the results change at all.
