Reedited Intro for Research Project
Everyone wants to have a positive life, everyone wants to have a good sense of well being in order to maintain a positive view on their life. This is what Dr. Martin Seligman the father of positive psychology did he created this experiment called the 'Three Good Things" to help see that by doing this experiment if people would see a more positive view on their life and make them have gratitude for what they have. For me personally this experiment didn't work like I thought it would. I feel if someone wants to make their life more positive they would do something better than write three good things that happened to them for that day.The "Three Good Things" is where you write three good things that has happened to you for that day for a week or more to see if they feel more positive or feel more gratitude for what they have. The question that is to be answered after this experiment is "Can the Three Good Things gratitude process have a positive impact on my well-being?". Well in my experience the three good things did not have a positive impact on my well being because I don't have a lot of time write three good things everyday because I have lots to do and to me it seems like another chore for me which makes it boring and not interesting to want to do.
