In this last blog for the semester I will be telling you about my experience in this class that I didn't have to read an article for in order to write. (lol) This is all 100% my own thoughts and feelings.
If Angelina could talk about her experience in this English class, she would say its the best English class she has ever taken. She loves to read but not so much write because of middle and high school teachers. She was always told how to write her paper and if she didn't or missed one thing from the long list of how to write the paper well, she would fail and with that writing seemed boring to her and not worth the effort to try. When she came into English composition 1 she should it was gonna be the same way but she was certainly wrong and thank goodness for that. With this class she could write whatever her little heart wanted without all the restrictions and regulations. For once she could write about whatever she wanted and didn't have to worry about messing up the format or making sure her story answered the prompt or the prompt question. With this class she could be the true writer she knows she can be. I mean all she did and still does is read when she has time, with all that reading she could write a great book but she never learned that in school growing up so she never had practice to write for herself but she believes that this class will give her the right tools to do that for her. As the semester progresses she wants to continue to learn how to make better descriptive scenes since she doesn't like how some of her scenes sound and wants to improve on them. Her favorite assignments the narrative project because she of her choice she made in draft 1 but in the second she gets to see how her life would change if she did the opposite which really makes you think about how your life could have gone if you did opposite of what major or minor situation was. What she is looking forwarded to is doing the research paper because she loves to do research and get to learn about things more or better. Her three primary goals for this class are one, keeping up with class work and make sure its turned in on time since life is a little busy for her and will get a lot busy for her next year. Two, learn to write better descriptive scenes and Three, just enjoy writing and remember writing is a process not a product.

I echo Jimmy's comments about your outlook on writing. I am glad to hear you value our approach to making meaning in this course.
